What type of photography do you do?
I capture all kinds of life events! Senior pictures, headshots, branding, families, maternity, lifestyle newborn, couples, elopements, weddings, you name it!
What about bad weather?
I keep watch of the weather leading up to the day of the shoot and call it if needed about 1 - 2 hours before the scheduled session time. The weather shifts so much throughout the day that I don't like to call it too early. Closer to the session time the more accuracy. I try my hardest to avoid rescheduling a session thinking there will be bad weather, when it in fact ended up being just fine! If you have makeup/hair scheduled or have quite a far drive we can decide our next move earlier in the day if needed. We will then reschedule the session to a later date.
What should we wear?
Neutral/earthy tones are my favorite. I suggest avoiding loud colors/patterns and no neon. The colors and outfits you choose to wear for your session play a larger role in them than most realize! If you need more guidance on suggestions or color palettes please reach out and I'm happy to help!
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope! Images are given to clients with full printing rights.
How do we receive our photos?
I send an online gallery to you via email once editing is complete and will give you full instructions on how to download the images at the highest resolution to your devices.
What about in studio sessions?
If you'd like your session to be at a studio, please note that the studios charge a fee that is an addition to my regular portrait price. Find the studio fee in the "add on" section under the investments tab.
What is your editing style?
My style is warm, earthy, and emotive. However, every shoot is different based on lighting, outfits, skin tones, the scenario, ect. I edit at my discretion of what looks most pleasing for all aspects above. Please note I do basic skin retouches such as blemish removal, skin softening, teeth whitening, ect. I do not do body modifications such as making you look skinnier, curvier, ect. I'm the type of photographer to help you embrace your natural beauty. If you let me know at the beginning of our session any insecurity you may have we can try to pose in a way that may help with the things that bother you. It's all about the angles hunny!
Do you do newborn sessions?
I do "lifestyle newborn" sessions. So this means I come to your home (or preferred location) and rather than taking posed/studio style shots of baby, I capture the natural flow of your family with your newest addition.
Do you offer mini sessions?
Mini sessions are only offered on select dates at select locations. Mostly during the holidays. Keep watch for those on my instagram stories or Facebook!
What is your turnaround time?
For my regular sessions, the first gallery is sent in a week post session for you to pick your favorites. The final gallery is sent in 1-2 weeks AFTER you choose your favorites. Weddings depend on how many hours of capture time there was, typically between 3 - 6 weeks.
